BuildRight Conference:
Scholarship for Workforce Trainees

Overview:

We invite pre-apprenticeship trainees & graduates to attend the BuildRight Conference on April 30 at no-cost to learn about high performance home construction, explore residential career pathways, and to network with employers and industry professionals!

Registrants will receive a scholarship ($485 value), a financial stipend for attending ($120), and a chance for job seekers to meet with employers during the trainee-employer networking event. 

Join for a full day of conference events that will include: 

• An introduction to the conference from EA instructors
• Nationally-renowned keynote speakers discussing building science and energy efficiency in homes
• Mentoring sessions focusing on your career options in residential construction
• 'Meet & Greet' session for job seeker trainees and employers to connect
• Top-tier conference sessions from industry leaders on various building topics
• Networking Opportunities during complimentary breakfast, lunch, and sponsor hall

Oregon needs a diverse and qualified workforce to meet the current and future construction demand, and this conference is an opportunity to learn about sustainable practices in residential construction. The topics covered in this conference will provide knowledge that will make new tradespeople (like you!) more attractive and valuable to future employers.

Earn a $120 stipend for attending the conference! To qualify for the stipend, pre-apprenticeship trainees must complete all of the following:

• Arrive by 7:40am and and sign in
• Fill out a W-9 form at arrival for we can issue a check (info needed: name, address, SSN, and signature)
• Attend and sign in at TWO required sessions throughout the day (Introduction & Meet/Greet)
