Portland, Ore. – October 16, 2023 – Earth Advantage today announced the addition of Bruce Manclark, a nationally-recognized expert in building performance, as Senior Technical Advisor. Manclark will work across multiple Earth Advantage teams, providing consultation and guidance on technical training, building science research, and program quality assurance.
Over the course of his career, Manclark has developed focused expertise in residential energy efficiency and quality control testing. He has been instrumental in introducing new and more efficient technologies to the Northwest markets, particularly in the fields of HVAC design, diagnostics and evaluation. He has overseen energy inspections of more than 20,000 homes, enabling him to serve as an effective advisor for energy programs seeking to influence the market. Organizations including Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), Energy Trust of Oregon, and numerous public utilities, have sought out Manclark to develop and implement highly successful energy efficiency programs for HVAC, hot water, new homes, and existing homes. Manclark has been nationally recognized for his contributions to the building performance industry and was inducted into the Building Performance Institute (BPI) Hall of Fame in 2016.
A highly respected speaker and instructor, Manclark has taught more than 300 classroom trainings on energy efficiency related topics. In this capacity, he has conducted training programs for Pacific Power, Idaho Power,Energy Trust of Oregon and NEEA, among others.

Prior to joining Earth Advantage, Bruce was at CLEAResult where he served as technical advisor for multiple utility programs in the company’s Western region. He is also the founder and owner of Delta T consulting, which specializes in residential HVAC systems.
